Hm shadowdancer has some potential. A pair can take out support pieces and weak commanders with relative ease. Letīs see its attack bonus and HP.

My $.02 on the recent additions:

Bralani: I'd rather use a Storm Archer. This guy gets no archer feats, so often the +11/6 devolves to +3/-2. Since he can fly over and shoot from the back... he may effectively split a warband up as a beater must retreat to the back to deal with the Bralani. Initial thought is a Warden/Bear combo to tank, and 2 of these guys to snipe til the endgame, when they can rush in and use decent melee stats.

Lillend: Agree with the rest of the peant galley... kinda dissappointed. DC 16 on the Beguile is ok... Kord is beguiled 25% of the time and Lilli gets 2 chances at that. Greeeeeeat. And only Remove Fear is worth the spell use. Too bad she's 44 points.

Gnome Trickster: Agree we need to see how that Sphere is gonna work. Still, Slide, Distract and a SS to boot! Yikes... oh yeah, can sneak attack, has conceal and 50 hp. 27 points seems like a deal here. I think FB's are the likely allies, other synergies don't pop to mind yet... Mordenkainen for 2 Spheres? I dunno. Good piece though.

Air Genasi: I think this guy is SoliD. This may be the piece that CG can make a Quad out of. 4 AGS = 144 ponts. Inspired Marshall = 29 + 144=173 leaving 27 points for fodder and tile grabber. Or Dragon Totem Hero and a LGD for some serious flank bonus... but really, not needed. AB's are high enough when flanking. Lucky and Retribute help up the damage/durablilty. Lucky can give you 4 morale saves if need be. I think this guy will be a great contribution to CG.

Phoera: Opinions are all over the map... I'm going with pretty good, but an awkward point total.

man- 3xshadow dancers+ gnome trickster = nasty.
invisibility sphere-teleport in- sneak attack - repeat 3 times and it is less then 120 points- leaving planty for a big hitter, a commander, and some fodder

Gnome Trickster: Is there an error in the stats? THe Trickster seems too good to be true.

In short, my bet is yes. First off, there is no way the wording for Invisibility Sphere in the stats is correct. They would never say "radius 2; self and adjacent allies gain...". It's either going to be radius 2 OR self and adjacent allies.

This of course makes me question the rest of the wording. I'm willing to bet that the effect ends for allies if they move away from the target of the spell (moving out of the sphere). If it were really a spell where you could make a bunch of people invisible and let them run all over the place, wouldn't it be mass invisibility?

Seriously - someone has just made up that wording. I wouldn't be getting all that excited about it until I see the card.

A creature affected by this spell ALSO ends the effect on itself if it uses any ability that "replaces attacks".

So what was the other condition? Clearly it will be written on the card. And as I said, I'm willing to bet the card will say that the effect ends if they move away.

radius 2; self and allies gain invisibility until they attack or cast a spell

Seems pretty clear to me that the other condition is attacking or casting a spell.

I'm sorry - but that's not what the insert says. What I have written is word for word everything that is on the insert.

People are infering that the conditions to end invisibility are the same as what the conditions will be to end invisibility sphere. There is no particular reason why this must be the case.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

Non-Epic Storm gets a WoW from me.
Fly spell, Cmd 4, Fearless CFX.
Warband Building will take some time to figure out, but overall she is pretty nice.

My reaction to Storm Silverhand is as follows:

First, I begin chanting "Hooya hooya hooya hooya!", like Chief Thunder from the old arcade game 'Killer Instinct.'

Then, the Pegasi and I celebrated by dancing about.

Then, I yelled "I HEARTILY ENDORSE STORM SILVERHAND'S PRODUCT AND/OR SERVICE!"

Then I smiled. This is very, very close to my super-ideal commander, has pretty much all the features I want.
