I have decided to get some more play in by going to another store for Wednesday night League. Without having put too much thought into my warband (as i want practice in playing more than warband building at this point) i simply when with my favorite stand-by. I used a TWolf instead of the Human Thug though.
Human Blackguard, Fire Giant Forgepriest, Zakya Rakshasa, Snig the Axe + 3x Goblin Skirmisher, Greenspawn Sneak, Timber Wolf, Hobgoblin Warrior; 200/10

Matchup 1 (win): Jake (WeaponBreaker) - Red Hand War Sorcerer, Bluespawn Stormlizard x2, DHoD (Pippy), Large Duergar, Greenspawn Sneak, Timber Wolf, Green Dragon
Map: Frostfell (my win, i didn't bring a map so i chose this side)
Side: B (my win, my choice)
After just losing to Stormlizards on Monday during No-Rare night, i was wary about their lines and links. I used the sniglettes to detain one of them for a round or so. My sneak was able to roll two crits in a single round while within range of Snig for 30 dmg to the dragon! He was able to get his lines off ok, but not great (thankfully) and i made most of my saves (to include morale on Zak) and he even failed a SR check or two. He snowballed the Giant, but it was too little too late at that point, it had killed the dragon, duergar, a lizard, and was about to drop the other lizard.

Matchup 2 (win): John - Lord Soth, Fire Giant Forgepriest, Warrior Skeleton x6
Map: Drow Outpost (i didn't bring a map)
Side: B (his win, his choice)
I managed to avoid the first time blast. Yay. I think screwed up blocking the giant by not actually blocking movement, so he was able to Giant cleave my fodder, clearing a path for the blast to hit everybody. I didn't need Snig and fodder anyway. I still managed to engage in such a manner that gave me more attacks then him, and the fact that he missed the Zak when it was killable was huge. I down Soth and the Giant was already injured before he was able to start on the Giant, mine passed morale and it was just time before his fell.

Matchup 3 (win): Carl (Venport) - Moon Elf Fighter, Gnome Trickster, Shadowdancer x4, Devis, Half-Elf Bard, Timber Wolf
Map: Frostfell Rift (my win, i didn't bring a map, so i chose this side)
Side: A (his win, his choice)
I never like this matchup, so i just went for the gusto. I started as close to him as i could and I kept myself as far from walls as i could on approach (Round 1). Round two, i moved in to attack a dancer, and rolled a 1. Not a good start. Zak moves in and hits. He then attempts to pummelt he giant, but thankfully only hits twice. Next round i do what damage i can, but it isn't much, no dead dancers. Round 3, Giant routes thanks to Devis, but can't move thanks to flanking Dancers. Round 4, Zak routes and i damn near give up (bad dice are just lame sometimes), Giant rallies so i play it out. Blackguard decides to mix it up by forcing a dancer to use a Def roll (thanks Sneak and Smite), which the giant can then kill and cleave with. Zak runs off board. Giant dies, but he is shy tile points while i kill his commander with blackguard and i have enough tile to cover the last dancer and dwarf. Yay. talk about squeaking out a victory. Had this carried another round, he had the victory to cover what i had on the board.

3-0 is always good, and i was surprised at my ability to survive a Dancer hit squad like i did. I am going to play this band until UH releases and see what core changes i can make that give added value while keeping my playability and survivability.
