Well, i wanted to win another themed night, and i wanted to do it with new meets old. Epic night, so i wanted to do lots of 80-100 ish figs. Vlaakith the Lich Queen, Githyanki Dragon Knight x2, Large Red Dragon x2, Burning Skeleton x2, Red Wyrmling. 499/8

1st Match (loss): Pit Fiend, Horned Devil, Zakya Rakshasa x3, Dragonmark Heir of Deneith, Goblin Skirmisher x2.

This one was just silly. I did my best to get victory early and often. I did. I Left the pit fiend alone and gunned for Zaks then Horned Devil in turn. Every other phase i rolled a 1. I had one Dragon Knight stunned the whole game. It just wasn't a pretty sight. I had a good chance of beating him, but that chance was negated by dice.

2nd Match (loss): Aspect of Tiamat, Fire Giant Forgepriest, and others

Tiamat is my nemesis. My Kryptonite. The kid is new to the game so i helped him learn a few things about the game (and show his dad, who is learning, some of the finer points of the game). My dice didn't change any from the first game and so I lost. 'Nuff said.

3rd Match (win): Vlaakith the Lich Queen, Githyanki Dragon Knight, Githyanki Fighter, Orc Wizard, Orc Druid

If nothing else, i was able to get my map every game! And as for my dice, well, i rolled 3 20s this game, one of which was agianst the lich queen, but hey, i takes what i can get. My opponent, just happened to have bad dice that never quit (we were playing for last place, and he won it!). I did my very best to use all my spells, breaths and play hit and run as best i could. I did a good job at it just like the last two games. It took awhile, but i finally got him down to just the queen. I surrounded her with my queen, a red dragon and two knights. Then we just started rolling dice. It took me 4 rounds to kill her, and in the mean time he vorpalled two of my figs with his dolorous blow. I did manage to kill her for the win

I walked away with 2nd loser. I can't even lose right! But i did win the themed band for the night. I really like the build, but fire immune takes away a lot of their punch. Luckily i didn't face any ice devils, althought the Tiamat might as well have been one. I may even try it again to test against a different group of bands and with different dice to see if i still like it.

I really wish the dice were good in our game... that would have been great... Great warband lots of fun to see all those dragons running around
